Capabilities: Towing and Payload
A heavy-duty truck needs some heavy-duty numbers, and the
Ram 2500 delivers. When properly equipped, the automaker says that its
truck boasts a best-in-class diesel tow rating of up to 19,780 pounds.
Max payload ratings come in at up to 4,050 pounds for select
configurations when properly equipped.
The Ram Power Wagon, the most capable off-road full-size
pickup truck, is back for the new generation, offering an exclusive
suspension, locking differentials in the front and rear, a factory lift
kit, and a 12,000-pound winch.

Technology Features
This may be the smartest Ram 2500 ever. New technology
features include available Full-LED Headlamps, an updated Uconnect
infotainment system with an available 12.0-inch touchscreen--by far the
largest screen offered on a heavy-duty truck--and an available 750-watt,
17-speaker Harman/Kardon premium sound system.
Classic features like Bluetooth audio connectivity,
smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and
top-of-the-line navigation will also be offered on the new Ram
2500.
Safety and Driver Assistance
To continue with the massive changes made to this massive
truck, we'll also see a long list of passive and active safety and
security features, both familiar and new. Class-Exclusive Adaptive
Forward Lighting is perfect for truck drivers who may often be driving
off the beaten path. Available Forward Collision Warning with Active
Braking is an available state-of-the-art system that works even when
you're towing a trailer.
Other safety features in the new Ram 2500 include an
available Blind Spot Warning System and a new 360° Surround View
Camera.
