Overview
The Jeep Compass is a two-row compact SUV that sits up to five people. Its strengths lie in its state-of-the-art infotainment system, intelligent cargo solutions, and off-road capability. Despite its compact body size, the Jeep Compass is quite capable compared to its competitors.
Performance
Under the hood, the Jeep Compass is equipped with a 2.4-liter Tigershark four-cylinder engine that is paired to a six-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive. Altogether this powertrain gets a performance output of 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque alongside a fuel economy of 22 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.
Both the transmission and the drivetrain can be swapped out with four-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic, respectively. Equipping the Jeep Compass with four-wheel drive, in turn, unlocks a maximum towing capacity of 2,000 pounds.

Technology
The 2020 Jeep Compass comes standard with the world's best infotainment system, the Uconnect. It is controlled via a seven-inch touchscreen that comes standard with smartphone compatibility via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
